Affilibee for WooCommerce

Requirements

• WordPress Version: 5.3 (minimum)
• WooCommerce Version: 5.3 (minimum)
• PHP Version: 7.4 (or greater)
• MySQL Version: 5.6 (or greater)

Quick Start Guide

1. Download the Plugin
2. Install the Plugin
   • In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins > Add New.
   • Click Upload Plugin, then select the downloaded .zip file.
   • Click Install Now.
3. Activate the Plugin
   Once the plugin is installed, click Activate to enable it on your site.
4. Create an API Token in Affilibee
   
   • Log in to your Affilibee account.
   • Go to Settings -> API Tokens.
   • Create a new API token and copy it.
5. Add the Token in Your Plugin Settings
   
   • In WordPress, go to WooCommerce -> Settings -> Affilibee.
   • Paste the API token you created.
   • Save your settings.
6. Start Tracking
   Your tracking is now set up. Affiliates will be credited for orders they generate, based on the affiliate slug present in your store’s URLs.

• Cookie Placement
  When a customer visits your store with an affiliate parameter in the URL, the plugin sets a 30-day first-party cookie to track the referral. It follows a last-touch model, meaning the most recent affiliate link clicked before purchase is the one that receives credit.
• Affiliate Slug on Order Meta
  When an order is created, the plugin saves the affiliate slug to the order’s meta data. You can verify this on the WooCommerce order detail page in your WordPress admin.
• Order Submission to Affilibee
  When an order status is set to Completed, the plugin sends an order submission request to the Affilibee API. This ensures that affiliates are properly credited for the sale.
• Segment Slugs
  Segment slugs are not currently supported with WooCommerce. Instead, use SKUs to apply different commissions for different products in Affilibee.
• API Request Logs
  The plugin logs all requests made to the Affilibee API. These logs can be used to troubleshoot or debug any issues with order tracking. If a request fails, review the error message to identify the issue. If you need additional assistance, please reach out to our support team.
