Start tracking
Affiliates are credited for orders based on the affiliate slug in your store's URLs.
We strongly recommend placing a test order before going live, see below.
Verify your setup (recommended)
Run a quick end-to-end test before going live:
Enable Test Mode
In WordPress, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Affilibee and check Enable Test Mode. Save. Test Mode uses the testing API endpoint so your test orders won't affect live reports.
Use the test tracking link
Visit your WooCommerce store with the affiliate parameter added to the URL, for example: https://your-website.com?affiliate=test
This parameter (?affiliate=test) simulates a click from an affiliate with the slug "test".
Place a test order
Log out of WordPress admin or use a private/incognito window.
Visit your store using the link above.
Add any product and complete checkout.
Check the order in WooCommerce
Go to WooCommerce → Orders, open the test order, and confirm the affiliate slug (test) appears in the order details.
Verify in Affilibee
Go to Integrations → Affilibee API → Request Log.
Make sure your request shows as successful. Expand the entry to review the payload (order rows, amounts, and customer data).
🎉 All set! Disable Test Mode and start tracking real sales.
How it works
Cookie placement
When a shopper visits with an affiliate parameter in the URL, the plugin sets a 30-day first-party cookie.
Credit follows a last-touch model (the most recent affiliate link before purchase gets credit).
Affiliate slug on order
On order creation, the affiliate slug is stored in the order meta.
You can verify it on the WooCommerce order detail page.
Order submission
When an order is marked Completed, the plugin submits the order to the
Affilibee API so the affiliate is credited.
Segment slugs
Segment slugs aren't supported with WooCommerce. Use SKUs in Affilibee to
apply different commissions per product.
API request logs
All requests to the Affilibee API are logged. Use them to troubleshoot order tracking issues.
If a request fails, review the error message. Need help? Contact support.
