Commissions

Affilibee gives you the flexibility to offer different commissions to different affiliates, products, or product categories. By using Affiliate Tiers and Product Segments, you can fine-tune your commission structure to best suit your business needs.

Configuring Commissions in Affiliate Tiers

• Access Affiliate Tiers
  Go to Settings -> Affiliate Tiers to set up and manage your commission rates. By default, you'll have a single tier with a default product segment.
• Multiple Tiers
  Tiers allow you to group affiliates and assign unique commission rates. Example tiers could be Silver (10% default commission) and Gold (15% default commission).
• Fixed Amount or Percentage
  Choose whether each tier's commission is a fixed amount (e.g., $5 per order) or a percentage of the order value.

Product Segments for Differentiated Commissions

• Default Segment
  By default, each tier has a default segment, which applies to all products not assigned to any specific segment.
• Creating Segments
  Within each tier, you can add product segments (e.g., "iPhones"). Assign specific products (by SKU or category) to these segments.
• Segment Commission Rates
  Set a unique rate for each segment. Example: Silver tier has a 10% default rate and 5% for iPhones; Gold tier has a 15% default rate and 10% for iPhones.
• Zero Commission Products
  If certain products shouldn't generate commissions, set their rate to 0% in the corresponding segment.
• Segment Descriptions
  Each segment can include a description visible to affiliates, clarifying which products are included in that segment.

Example Scenario

• You set up two Affiliate Tiers: Silver and Gold
• You add two additional Product Segments, so you have: Default, iPhones and Samples
  You specify that Silver has a 10% commissions rate in the Default segment, 5% for the iPhone segment and 0% for the Samples segment. You specify that Gold has a 15% commissions rate in the Default segment, 10% for the iPhone segment and 0% for the Samples segment.

This setup ensures iPhones earn a lower commission rate than other products and Samples generate 0% commission.
