Rate Limits

To ensure stability and fair use of the API, Affilibee applies rate limits to all requests.

Default limits

The standard rate limit for all API requests is 60 requests per minute.

Rate limits are applied based on your authenticated merchant. For any unauthenticated requests (such as testing invalid tokens), the limit is applied per IP address.

Exceeding the limit

If you exceed the rate limit, the API will return a 429 Too Many Requests HTTP status code.

When you receive a 429 response, you should wait before making further requests. We recommend implementing an exponential backoff strategy in your integration to handle these cases gracefully.
